Objectives - Legacy configuration

Prerequisites and access

An authorized administrator needs access to legacy questionnaires and interviews, the relevant employees and evaluators, and the periods used by objective questions. The legacy questionnaire and campaign are separate resources. Confirm tenant permissions and period definitions before editing an existing form. See Legacy Forms configuration and Legacy Interviews configuration.

Configure objectives for an interview

  1. Prepare the periods relevant to previous and future objectives. Verify their dates and intended population with the campaign owner; no universal period default is established.
  2. Open Performance → Questionnaires, locate the interview questionnaire and inspect its objective questions and nested evaluation questions.
  3. Add or edit the appropriate objective question and its subquestions where available. Review each title, instruction, required state and simple, range or selection control. Set participant creation permissions where the relevant question exposes them.
  4. Save the questionnaire, reopen it and check question ordering and options. Follow the legacy publication procedure, then select the questionnaire in the interview campaign.
  5. Verify participant and evaluator assignments, phase dates and answer visibility. Exercise the questions with both roles in a test campaign and verify the actual saved output before launch.
AreaWhat to reviewEvidence
Objective subquestionsWording, order, control type and required state.Verified in code: legacy AssessmentQuestionController associates subquestions with an objective evaluation; the interview template renders simple/range/select types.
Employee / manager creationAvailability and role permissions where offered.Verified in code: legacy question controller handles employee/manager objective-creation options. Do not assume these switches apply to every objective subtype.
PeriodRelevant past/future dates and campaign linkage.Documented in existing interview configuration; exact tenant defaults and precedence are Not verified.

Safe changes and troubleshooting

Inspect campaign usage and existing answers before editing; create a new questionnaire version when a material change should not alter an active workflow. If goals are absent, check period, form, participant and phase. For rejected answers, inspect the specific subquestion control and required setting. Reopening a finished interview requires the appropriate legacy permission; see Interview configuration.

Evidence and limitations

Verified in code: smartmobility-legacy/src/Company/AssessmentBundle/Controller/{DefaultController,AssessmentQuestionController}.php and src/Customer/InterviewBundle/Resources/views/Default/objectives_evaluation.html.twig. Not verified: live objective-configuration controls, tenant-specific defaults, complete approval rules and cross-generation conversion. No legacy objective-configuration screenshot was captured. The profile's development-goal settings are a separate feature.
